Joyce Ong, Director BSc, Masters in Business Administration, OISC Level 1 Accreditation

The London Link™ was founded in 2005 by Joyce Ong, a Singaporean and UK MBA graduate specialising in general and strategic management. After many successful years in marketing and business development, working for blue chip firms Credit Suisse and American Express in Asia and Europe, Joyce decided to follow her dream of running her own business. Having migrated to the UK under the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme, Joyce puts her experience to good use by helping others realise their aspirations of living, working and doing business in the UK. A strong Marketing and Business background coupled with 10 years’ of hands-on experience running an immigration practice has equipped Joyce with an innate understanding of the immigration and business needs of companies, skilled migrant professionals and entrepreneurs.

Joyce’s area of interest and focus is: assisting Companies, Skilled Professionals, Entrepreneurs and Investors with their varied and complex needs when establishing themselves in the UK..Effectively bi-lingual in Mandarin and English.

Mayce Niama, Immigration Lawyer LLB (Hons), BVC, OISC Level 3 Accreditation

Mayce joined The London Link in 2011. In September 2014, Mayce obtained a part funded scholarship from City University London to read MA International Politics and Human Rights. Mayce holds an OISC Accreditation Level 3, was called to the Bar in 2005 and obtained LLB (Hons) Law Degree (2:1) in 2004. Mayce has extensive experience in the immigration law field dealing with all types of immigration appeals and applications (including all Tiers under the PBS and immigration rules). Specialist in conducting high profile immigration appeals. Mayce is an expert in corporate immigration advising employers / companies seeking to employ from outside the EU. She also assists businesses and high-net worth individuals wishing to invest in the UK (Tier 1 Investor visa applications). Mayce has an interest in politics and advises on Parliamentary Statements of Intent and complex areas of the immigration law field. Finally, Mayce conducts immigration training to Solicitors, Barristers and other legal professionals on behalf of Central Law Training.

Mayce is conversant both in Arabic and English.

Valentina Euripides, Senior Immigration Consultant BSocSci (Political Science), Diploma in Law, OISC Level 2 Accreditation

Valentina was admitted as a Solicitor in 2001, and has 12 years’ experience of practising immigration law, including more than 6 years with the former Immigration Advisory Service, and at Gherson solicitors. She has worked with The London Link since 2010 and has a broad range of experience in:

All Points Based System applications, both in-country and at the entry clearance level, and providing support and advice to employers applying for a Sponsor’s license; advising and assisting by way of written representations, with preparation of applications for entry clearance, leave to remain and variation of leave in most immigration categories, including spouses, dependent relative/child, domestic workers, long residency, settlement applications, as well as applications for EU nationals and their family members. Includes applications made outside of the rules on Human Rights grounds and under Appendix FM; Nationality / Citizenship issues; Appeals: advising and assisting with lodging of appeals against refusals of extension or variation of leave, refusals of entry clearance, liaison with the Entry Clearance post with regard to clients’ cases; Asylum: new asylum matters, fresh asylum claims, asylum appeals, legacy cases, family reunion applications; Advising and assisting clients in detention.

Valentina is conversant in Greek and Spanish.

Arifa Tanveer, Administrative Assistant LLB (Hons), OISC Level 1 Accreditation

After completing her law degree in 2012, Arifa has been working for the local Citizens Advice Bureau and has qualified as a gateway assessor. She has experience in dealing with various issues such as housing, benefits, debts, employment, family and immigration. Arifa joined The London Link in June 2014 and has since completed her OISC Level 1 accreditation. She has assisted in preparing Points-Based System applications and appeal bundles. She is also responsible in assisting in the day-to-day running of the business.

Arifa is trilingual in English, German and Urdu.
